I'll be looking at the ideas of distrubution
and will be creating a Music Video.

Aspects of Post Modern Media- How I can relate it to My Music Video

After completing a teser trailer I have decided to look at the ideas of distrubution through the music industries and hopefully create and complete a music video.

Bricolage: is a term used in several disciplines, among them the visual arts, to refer to the construction or creation of a work from a diverse range of things that happen to be available, or a work created by such a process. So it's the process of assembling artefacts from bits and pieces of other things.

- Through the idea of Bricolage, I have learned that the creation of making your music video should be unique in which looking at the constuction of a main image, embedding in consistantly in the music video to show a key effect emphasising on representing the main idea.

Hyperreality:

Most aspects of hyperreality can be thought of as "reality by proxy." Some examples are simpler: the McDonald's "M" arches allegedly make the material promise of endless amounts of identical food from the store, when in "reality" the "M" represents nothing, and the food produced is neither identical nor infinite, as a person would expect from a fast food restaurant.

-Through looking at the idea of Hyperreality, the idea of logos and representation comes to mind. Showing that my music video must have a key image. (like under a music industry production)

Intertextuality: is the shaping of texts' meanings by other texts. It can include an author’s borrowing and transformation of a prior text or to a reader’s referencing of one text in reading another. The term “intertextuality” has, itself, been borrowed and transformed many times since it was coined by poststructuralist Julia Kristeva in 1966. As critic William Irwin says, the term “has come to have almost as many meanings as users, from those faithful to Kristeva’s original vision to those who simply use it as a stylish way of talking about allusion and influence.”

-Through the idea of Inertextuality, I have learned that shouldn't just look at the lyrics and look with what's embedded underneathe. 

Nihilism Video

This is an example of a Nihilism video in which it's a belief in the pointless existence. The absence of truth. The absence of reason. It's based on extreme skepticism. In most basic ideas of music videos- Politics, Social rhetoric, Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll ect, which can be referred as 'epistemological nihilism'  in which it simply denies the possibilities of knowledge of truth.

Shirley the Smoking orangutan

Shirley the smoking orangutan is forced to quit her
addictive habit and go cold turkey.Can she last?
Will her temper arise with the lack of nicotine in her body?
Is she really dangerous?
The animal's nicotine addiction was encouraged by
visitors who she tossed her cigarette ends at Johor Zoo in Malaysia.
She was rescued by wildlife officials along with another orangutan, Abu.
She will be placed under intensive rehab for two weeks before
being transferred to an orangutan rescue centre. Will she be rehabilitated,
keep up to date with Shirley's website and facebook page for
updates.

A Story With The Help From Palm, Starting :)

Lenny had everything he could wish for, money, games, clothes, rich family and a manor family home,with where he had his own bedroom with an en-suite bathroom,
But he didn't have a women to share it with. Life was becoming somewhat lonely. But today is different, today Lenny's life will change forever...
Lenny was jack-the-lad type guy, he flirted with women, he wasn't looking for love or a relationship, he was quite happy with his single life, going out whenever he wanted or doing what ever he wanted, and had nobody to answer to, but today when the house was quiet and ery, he felt lonely.
Lenny looked through his contact list, racking his brain of the women he had recent seen. How they acted... He cringed at the idea of hisrecent blind date his mate hooked him up with. Overly fat, spoke with her mouth full which having to dodge the flying spits of food that came out of her mouth. He decided to go out for a walk to erase the images in his head from that awful night.
he lived in the countryside in west oxfordshire, as he walked the fields with his Sheppard dog, in his brown trousers and blue quilted farmers jacket, he heard someone shouting ' Henry! henry!' a high tone of a female voice, behind him, at first he didn't take notice, but the shouting kept going on and on,
so he decided to back track and see who it was.
He poked his head over the bush so he could see what was happening. A woman appeared into view, wearing dungarees and wellies. She had long glossy ginger hair. She was running. Following hot on her was a hench overweight guy with a big bald shiny head. He had a pitch folk in one hand
and followed her into a big red barn..
at first, Lenny was not sure what he should do or if that man following was with her or not, until he saw the look in that mans eyes when he looked at her, hungry and desperate, not sure on what he should do, Lenny stayed down at the bush watching, until 5 minutes later, he heard a thump and silent help and nobody
came out of the barn...
Lenny came out to get away from the ery quietness in his house, n this feeling was coming back again, an ery quietness of the cold winds blowing in the fields, the only thing he could hear was a distant sound of a motor way and the crackling of the bushes
His body pulled him out the door back to the country lane and his legs wandered him back to where the woman was chased. He didn't understand why he wanted to know if she was ok.. He stood at the opening of the barn. Holding his breathe...He heard someone crying...
then he saw it, the heavy overweight body slumped over the landing of the upper barn, fresh velvet blood dripping from the wound on his head, he was knocked unconscious, Lenny was surprised at the scene he just witnessed, as he thought of a whole different scenario.
He stood there frozen. Her piercing green eyes scared his skull. Tears ran down her face, her hands shaking, she opens her mouth to say something.. Lenny steps back stumbling and she slowly walks down the wooden steps towards him..

in her hand was the pitch fork with blood tripping from the tips, her hands was shaking and she was mumbling something Lenny couldnt hear but all he could say was ' please put it down, i wont tell anyone' he could now work out what she was saying, she didnt kill in over and over
As she got to him. He realised who she was...
"Bailey?"
"Henry?"

I'm a scary monster:p
My pet kitty Ziggy is crazy. He loves water.
When you run water, he appears.
One day when I was having a shower the door
was closed, Ziggy some how got into the bathroom and appeared under the shower curtain, causing me to nearly fall over. He pushed his way past me and stood under the water.
Scared me half to death. Embarrassing having to wrap a towel around myself and calling my mum considering we had guests round.

A little white pup, snowflake was found abandoned
by bailiffs at a home in Oxfordshire.
He was found hiding under a blue blanket, cold
and hungry.
Lucky someone found him in time he is in good health and is with a loving family.
This pup didn't have such a stable beginning but certainly will have a happy life in the future.

Lennys was a clumsy type of guy always leaving his shoes untied. He slipped and landed on a needle in a haystack.
Snowflake the little pup was found with his new owners high heels shoes, unfortunately she won'g be able to wear them to the upcoming party in which she had planned to go to.

:) Identity

Identity can been shown in many different ways, like with Driving licence or passport to show your age.
Different people believe in different religions, showing the sense of diverse identity.To show how someone's Identity I decided to ask them to write me a list of what they think their identity consists of.


I drew these images to create a visual aspect of ones Identity. 
Each picture within the image shows the different aspects of their life.

For example. Scroll in the middle is a representation of the law. The cross is a symbol of her religion of Christianity. Words Northern, Socialist and Jedward shows where she's from, her character and what she likes.

Melissa Toma, Female, Cherwell School 

The fish in the middle of the page shows her love and passion for swimming. The image of the headphones and music notes show the love of music. The capital words for DO NOT WAKE ME. Shows her characteristics of not a morning person.









These two images are darker in which they create a diverse image to the lighter contrast of identities represented above.
