Banners Designs:

This was my first design,
using the idea of time and the name of my blog.
I like the idea of the clock but dislike the layout
and font type for the lettering.
I think the font of this more.
Especially the word 'production'
I'm not quite keen on the arrow,
I was thinking the idea of the clock hand arrows.
I like this design the best.
The circle symbolises the time, the font is
the same as the above. I like how it can be
small or big and still look effective.

- Looking Into What Shots I Can Use- R&B
In the R&B industry of music videos the representation of the male character is presented more dominant. The fascination and obsession with brands and appearance has changed the music industry style.Cars are a theme in which is created in R&B music videos to introduce a character and promote the wealth of this individual.

The relationships between characters for example falling in love, breaking up or making up is themes in which show how the R&B industry exploit themselves to their target audience and separate themselves from other genres.
The exposure of women is constantly shown in the way the female characters are under dressed. Creating continuous arguments between feminist societies and many critics in they believe that mere age restrictions are not enough. The view of women through the music industries, through R&B genres some have created narrative that makes women more sexual yet controlled by men.
GOT TO LOVE THE GREEN SCREEN!
Significance Of Time
I think that's it's important to consider the possible outcomes of a narrative I could create from the significance of time. Past, Present and Future is can be represented in a wide range of variety and exploiting characters to the audience. I thinks time is significant in the development of my music video as the lyrical structure is targeting the main idea: 'Running out of time.' I think this because of the lyric in the chorus:
(CHORUS)
(CHORUS)
When I her touch her she's like ai-ai-ai-ai
At the Studio all the ti-ii-ime
Get her alone, she be all mi-i-ine
(So we should be together)
When I her touch her she's like ai-ai-ai-ai
At the Studio all the ti-ii-ime
Get her alone she be all mi-i-ine
(So you should come over)
At the Studio all the ti-ii-ime
Get her alone, she be all mi-i-ine
(So we should be together)
When I her touch her she's like ai-ai-ai-ai
At the Studio all the ti-ii-ime
Get her alone she be all mi-i-ine
(So you should come over)
With the emphasis and repetition on the 'ti-ii-ime' the possibilities of disfiguring and constructing scenes of different time periods could keep the audience more engaged.
R&B- Relation to my music video(:
The Music video created by Eyec ft Venemuz- 'Why don't you?' Is in the R&B genre.
R&B is a stereotypical genre in, which is currently in high demand particularly with teenagers. Rhythm and Blues originated from the African Americans but over time has become a more diverse and post-modern genre in which targets 13-25 year old. Contemporary R&B is heavily influenced by being created into a performance based story telling music video. This is evident due to the clear emphasis on physical appearance, such as clothing, branding and it promotion of a distinctive style. The music is dominated by sexual relationships.
The audio for my media music video falls under this particular category because of the sexual references are emphasised in the lyrics. The music consists of elements of hip-hop, soul and some what funk due the the chorus change in pitch the back beat is continuous. As this contemporary R&B track has been recorded and polished in a recording studio the quality is professional.

Rihanna- We Found Love(Music Video) - Analysis&Reviews.
'We found love' is a song by Barbadian recorded by artist Rihanna, from her sixth studio album Talk That Talk(2011). The song features Scottish singer-songwriter Calvin Harris. "We Found Love" was released as the lead single from the album and premièred on September 22, 2011, in the United Kingdom on the Capital FM radio station and was made available to download on the same day. The song has met mixed reviews from music critics, who praised the song's composition and Rihanna's vocal performance, however, some critics felt that the lyrical content was sparse and came second to Harris' production. "We found love" debuted at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached number one in its sixth week in the chart, giving Rihanna the record for a solo artist to have amassed twenty top-ten singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 in the shortest amount of time and Harris his first number-one single. With the song becoming the singer's eleventh number one single, Rihanna has become only the seventh artist in the 53 history of the chart to amass at least eleven number one singles, as well as tying her with Whitney Houston in 7 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs and Pop Songs charts. "We found love"peaked at number one in New Zealand, Denmark, France, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and has attained top-five positions in Australia, Italy, Belgium and South Korea.
The song's accompanying music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas and presents Rihanna's relationship with her boyfriend as being like a drug and how their addiction to each other results in the singer leaving her boyfriend because of his possessive nature. The video received a mixed response of critics, and they noted that the video strongly alludes to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's assault on Rihanna.
This is one of the many videos made to show the making of the video. But this video stars her as she explains to the audience-fans the locations and shows behind the scenes of all the hard work both herself and those around her work. and why she made the music video the way she did, how it contrast to others she has made before.

Disney Inks YouTube Content Deal to Lure New Audiences.
Looking at different links to YouTube shows the different audiences in which they lure in, showing the different age groups, race and views of millions of people.
Posted November 7, 2011: http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/11/disney-youtube-content-deal/
- YouTube and Disney Interactive announced a new content-sharing and distribution deal on Monday, aiming to bring co-branded, family-friendly web clips to new audiences across the two powerhouse web video sites.
The deal brings “new, original short-form programming produced by Disney to be made available across YouTube and Disney.com,” according to a YouTube spokesman. Disney will continue to share existing video content to the YouTube channel, and will also include select content from other YouTube creators not otherwise affiliated with Disney, effectively bolstering the company’s relatively modest YouTube presence. In penning the deal, Disney Interactive hopes to capitalize on YouTube’s massive user base of over 800 million monthly viewers by bringing some of those eyeballs to the company’s own web site, Disney.com. The company’s game division — nee Disney Interactive — is bleeding money, with hundreds of millions in posted operating losses incurred over the past four quarters. While it’s a larger step in furthering Disney’s digital content relationships, Disney and Google already have a past. The two companies first partnered up in 2009, offering only short-form web clips to YouTube viewers. Monday’s announcement is a significant expansion to the previous deal; YouTube will now host full-length episodes of web-exclusive content made by Disney, beginning with an original video series based on the Disney smartphone app, “Where’s My Water?”Of course, partnering with YouTube is only one part to Disney’s overall online strategy. The company is hedging its digital bets across multiple web properties; Hulu.com — the massively popular online television site in which Disney has a significant equity stake — hosts television content from the ABC network, which Disney also owns. Last week, Disney renewed an existing two-year deal with Netflix to allow older ABC and Disney programs to run on the streaming movie services site. And on the same day as the Netflix partnership was announced, Disney inked practically the exact same deal with Amazon, allowing subscribers to rent ABC shows on the company’s Amazon Prime streaming service. In a time where YouTube is arming itself with more and more original content, Google also stands to gain significantly from the Disney partnership. Last week, Google announced its plans to bring over 100 channels to the YouTube platform, categorized by theme (comedy, sports, and the like) and populated with original content from partner contributors. The Wall Street Journal wrote earlier that some Google executives were floating the idea of offering premium pay-TV channels through YouTube, though the rumors are largely unconfirmed. The new Disney-produced content is slated to be released “early next year and will start in the US and then roll out internationally in the months that follow,” according to a YouTube spokesman.
YouTube's Audience - Not Who You Think.
Let's clear up some marketers' concerns about YouTube.
If you go by much of the media coverage of Google's new acquisition, you might think that the average visitor is 17 years old and gravitates toward videos of nerds dancing. However, even though the typical image of the YouTube audience pictures teens or slightly older people, the demographic data contradict that stereotype.Nielsen//NetRatings says that nearly 55 percent of YouTube's U.S. visitors in May 2006 were ages 35 to 64, with an additional 19 percent in the 25- to-34 bracket.

A third source, Quantcast, offers more finely divided age groups, but shows the 35-to-64 slice with 65 percent of YouTube's unique U.S. visitors in August 2006.The main takeaway from this demographic data is that marketers must go beyond media-spun, and often incorrect, images as they reckon not only where to put an online video campaign, but also how to target it. It will be shortsighted to peg all, or even most, video creative at those 24 or younger-the sites that might best sustain online video advertising are not just for kids. Even on the long-tail Internet, video will thrive best in mass-market niches, a phenomenon for all ages.

What is an audience- What Audience I am aiming at:
The music audience is a group of people who participate in a show or encounter a work of art, literature in which are called 'readers'. In music theatre in literature the audience are referred to the 'listeners' or academic in any medium.
Members of the audience participate, certain arts allowing modest clapping and those to criticise. Sometime cheering and shouting in such as in comedy shows or plays.
The audiences insight in general shape our knowledge of how the audiences affect and are affected by forms of art.
Universal audience
The universal audience is an imagined audience that serves as an ethical and argumentative tests for the rhetor. It requires the speaker to imagine a composite audience that contains individuals from diverse backgrounds and to discern whether or not the content of the rhetorical text or speech would appeal to individuals within that audience within that audience. The concept of the universal audience has received criticism for being idealistic because it can be considered as an impediment in achieving persuasive effect with particular audiences. Yet, still may be useful as an ethical guide for speaker and a critical tool for a reader or audience.
My Music video will be directed at a universal audience due to the video being published through YouTube a Viral Site.

The Beginning
-After meeting up with Ibby and helping with his storyboard, he's spoken to his friends,
they agreed they would make me a song. I met up with them to share, discuss ideas with
Ibby also there. I listened to some of they previous work. After talking to them, we
decided I would make a music video from an existing track they have made and recorded.
To increase their views on YouTube of their song and also to represent them, also to
get recognised by other artists they work with.
I spoke to them and we arranged what song, They emailed the track.
TIME TO START PLANNING!!!

Affective Previous Media Music Video..
I chose this video to put on my blog because I think it's is really unique, I like the way it's been constructed and the sharp cuts of the images blend really well with there song.
I looked at their blog in which I think is outstanding in which it shows the different stages and programmes in which they used.

A spoof was made from the Number-One, Grammy Winning award. Called White&Nerdy.
A Previous A2 Media Music Video was made.
The music video is successful in the parody in which someone has created as they have made it humorous. The media students were successful and show the comedy and have created the perfect parody. The use of word play is significant and the ideas in which they came up with are very unique in how they relate a phrase to a iconic image, such as the mowing of the lawn at the beginning (use of Mise-en-scene). There is use of notion looking is used through technologies such as the laptop, when you can see he looks like he's flying a plane. The transitions such as the wipe from right to left are effective, in how they are constructed creating a passage to a new location.
Tim Clague- Beachcombing
We also were asked to look at Tim Clague and his 'Beachcombing' idea.
Tim Clague has dedicated a blog to give advise and his expertise on creativity and writing. His idea of 'Beachcombing' are seven stages of an idea that are still rough, they're good basics yet are not strict.
1.) First there is a minor change in your attitude. Keeping a look out for new ideas and spotting new things in the world around you. Allowing ideas and inspiration to come to you.
2.)Next you need to remember these ideas and record them. Clague recommends carrying a notebook around with you.
3.) Exploring and playing with the ideas to develop them into proper concepts in next. This means you can spot the worthwhile ideas among the numerous bad ones- he calls this 'story dust.'
4.) Clague says a key to creativity is not to force it. You must not pressure ideas but instead allow them to form slowly. Allow the idea to come to you.
5.) Be ready for when an idea strikes. The dots will join at any moment ans you have to be ready to run with it.
6.) Talk about it, develop it with others, no one is cleverer than everyone. Different people will have different ideas and the best ones are shares and contributed to.
7.) Use the idea, practise it and eventually produce it.
JJ Abrams "The Mystery Box"
In one of our previous lessons we watched and took notes on JJ Abrams "the mystery box" In which he tells the audience he has never opened the box in his whole life, it has never been opened. Explaining our imagination is the greater mystery. I think he is right in saying so due to our minds holding stories, memories and ideas that other people don't have. He also mentioned his fascination with deconstruction with the inner workings of things in which his grandfather used to show him how mechanical objects were built. Also mentioning the idea in which holding peoples imagination in the way teaser trailers are built. Showing only snippets of the story of the film to let the audience come up with what happens next through their imaginations. He makes reference to Jaws in which he shows the significance of the a snippet in which a child copies his father.
I think one of his best quotes in this speech is: No communication is best served when only the elite have control."
Another Previous A2 Media Music Video
I like the way in which it tells a story- you can see the similarities in styles in which it has to Ed Sheeran- A-team, in the grey scale (black and white) also how the stories are somewhat similar in the relation to prostitutes and violence. How the camera shots relate to the lyric in which relate to the females body being fragmented and her as a women being objectified.

Previous A-Level Music Video- Close Analysis.
I like the introduction of how there is just the black screen in which the credits are put on. The close up shot shows relation to the time in showing a clock informing the audience of the time being the evening. The further close up shots of the images such as photos creates the use of mise-en-scene and builds up to the relation of it being a young persons room, either the male or female in the photos. Then the representation of the room is shown with a guy slouching. Making the audience feel confirmation that it's the guys room. The close up of the image of the girl shows significance in which shows relation to the character. The transitions from one shot to the other are steady and cut from a close up of his face to mid-shot, then back to the picture. So the audience is seeing it from the characters point of view and as a outsider. The panning shots are steady as they go over photos and images relating to the female and male characters. A close up of a microphone introduce three other characters in which they use mise-en-scene through props such as the microphone, guitar and drums. I like the focus on the photo booth and how they created the flash photography making the focus on the relationship between both characters. The transition of the double flash to a close up of the guitar shows the relation of the BFI source in which it shows not the The Killers but characters in which play the role of them, the audience can see that it is believable. The transitions of theses characters are also steady and tight cuts in flow with the music. The white screen flash of transition move back to the two characters of male and female in which the audience see as a couple which also follows the BFI in which shows relationships between both characters. The panning shot isn't steady but makes the story more realistic. The short shots that move every 90 degrees shows different ranges in their camera techniques. The transitions from the couple to the band are really tight and show the contrast of the difference in which the band it united more so then the couple. The steady follow through shot shows the significance of the mise-en-scene in which the male character has a piece of paper and is holding a guitar. The cut shots between both the female character are cut to the close up of her face, to them together, to him. Showing the significance in telling a story of how she doesn't appreciate him. The continuation of the relation to the band and the beginning with the photo of the girl character is emphasised. The close up shot of the their conversation and the mobile shows technical convergence in which they use a notion of looking, in which you're looking at a screen within a screen. Through the mobile the story of another character is revealed. 'Jonny'. The posters on the wall and photographs are yet again shown as well as the shots of the band. A close up of the female character is then shown with another guy showing the story reveal significance in which the character Jonny is also with the female due to the close up shot of kissing her and holding her hands. The notion of looking is then used again through the mobile from a message from the protagonist Adam. The long full body length shot is cut to the embrace mid shot of Jonny and the girl(Kirsty). A transition of a mid panning shot shows Adam, then back to a close up of Kirstys face. Different camera shots of Adam running are shown such as long shot, mid-shot. When the character of Adam bumps into a passing character it shows a more realistic view to the audience. The cuts between the band and the shot of Adam bumping into the passing by character are crucial and distinct. The panning tilted up shot of Adam going over the bridge and the birds shows the significance in the location they chose. The extreme wide shot of the Jonny and Adam kissing shows location also. The mid-shot of Adam to the kissing couple shows the story being told in which she has caught her with another guy. As he walks away with a panning shot a flash of the photos show relation to the beginning. The notion looking in is constantly shown as yet again through the screen within the screen of the mobile phone. The camera shot cuts of Jonny and Kirsty on the sofa to Adam at the door to her going down the stairs from a birds eye view , with the repetition. The cuts of Adam to Jonny show different shots, in which Adams getting shot from behind and then infront when he's looking into the rooms. The camera shot of the front of Adam and the mirrors reflection of Jonny leaving shows a notion looking. The different side shots from the characters perspectives are shown to show characteristics in which each of them show the audience. The white flash transition cuts back to the band in which photos are in the background. An arm pulls the pictures off the wall, then transitions to the close up of a band member- the singer. Then transitions back to Adam. The contrasts of the band, the flash of photos and the tearing of memories is show, in a constant flash of moving images that flow fluently. Ending at the beginning of the image of the girl- Kirsty. A white flash appears and Adam tears the picture, they repeat this movement but from different angles from infront, behind and above. There's a close up of the pieces as the fall and hit the floor. The ending shot is him opening the curtains from behind, then a midshot from his left side to his back. Then if fades to black.

*I like the tips in this video and will go by the same strategies in which I will listen repetitively to the lyrics and ask other peers to do so to, while listening I'll talk down notes, words phrases and put down what I think should be shown through the lyrics. I'll ask the initial artists in which what they thought about when they were creating the lyrics and if they have any requests in what they would like in their music. I need to make my music video unique in which I have to focus on a limited amount of characters to create a believable, realistic, tightly packed video that keeps the audience wanting to know what happens next.
